    6th August 2009, Canberra

A one-day forum for professionals from disciplines responsible for delivering a safe and secure environment.

Theme: Safe & Secure – Reducing Resources by Sharing Knowledge

Everyone is entitled to a safe and secure work, entertainment and accommodation environment. Too often the managers work in disparate areas unaware of the conflicting and contributing drivers of each discipline.

The aim of the forum was to share information on how you can create coordinated, cost-efficient systems to the benefit of all by:

    • Identifying cost savings through shared effort.
    • Developing mutual understanding and respect.
    • Identifying areas of commonality and mutual support.
    • Coordinated business plans.
    • Reducing overlaps and redundancy.
    • Recognising and minimising conflicts.
    • A safer and more secure environment.

All participants were encouraged to bring material for distribution. A table was available for attendees to leave information for the other participants.
